Key Stage 1 & 2

Little Red Riding Hood

A forty-five minute touring production featuring artisan carved marionettes, rhyming forest verse, and an inventive comic wolf designed specifically for primary school assembly halls.

Stage adaptation

A playful woodland encounter

Our original staging replaces vintage fright with witty wordplay and active character observation. Pupils help Red Riding Hood identify woodland footprints, decipher birdsong cues, and navigate a whimsical forest path where the wolf prefers fresh apple tarts over classroom mischief.

Following each performance, our puppeteers step in front of the proscenium to demonstrate string mechanics and tactile stagecraft materials directly with your pupils.

Curriculum alignment

Targeted support for spoken language, moral reasoning, and woodland habitats.

Every booked visit includes complete post-show literacy packs featuring printable character sequencing sheets, rhyming verse discussion prompts, and cross-curricular science notes exploring British woodland ecosystems.

Reserve your assembly date

Our two-person troupe arrives forty-five minutes prior to the morning bell with staging, sound equipment, and sixty handmade characters tucked into crates.
